What we receive and why
Contact form
Name, email address, subject, preferred apartment, dates, number of guests and message. This information is only used to answer your request and, where relevant, to prepare your stay. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request. Retention: 3 years after our last exchange.
Booking and payment
When you book, your data is processed by Lodgify (booking management) and Stripe (payment and security-deposit pre-authorisation) to perform the rental contract. We never see your full card number. Invoices and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as required by law.
Spring and autumn offers
If you sign up, we keep your email address to send you our offers, a few times a year at most. Legal basis: your consent. Every message contains an unsubscribe link; your address is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe, or after 3 years without contact.
Audience measurement
We measure website traffic with Matomo, installed on our own server, without cookies and with anonymised IP addresses. These statistics are only used to improve the website and are not shared with anyone.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising cookies or profiling trackers. Some embedded services may set their own cookies when you use them: the Lodgify booking module, embedded videos and webcams, maps. You can block them in your browser settings.
Where your data is stored
The website and contact-form messages are hosted in France by LWS. Lodgify and Stripe are subject to the GDPR; please see their respective privacy policies.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or object to it, as well as data portability. Write to us at resa@villa-iche.fr; we reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority).
